Hello, fellow mechanic! Charles would appreciate that whole quiet, hardworking ethic Driver's got on there, though he'll find it odd to be the relatively chatty one.

On the domestic repairs front, would Driver have accepted a request to help assemble some bunkbeds about a month before game began? Once Charles got back from a mission, he needed to modify his little apartment to contain another person and he needed those beds to be rock solid.

Aaand I'm laughing. What the hell, sure, he'd have helped... although probably made kind of a weird face about the question (who can't assemble a bed?), and didn't do much talking besides the minimum required not to, like, hit each other with planks and whatever.

It's possible the phrase "I don't wanna know" was deployed re: bed sturdiness. It's also possible he is now saving a bed-related crack for just the right time.

Sob, the planks are too long to handle by himself, don't pull faces, it's not like that! His room mate is just really energetic! And by that he means he's sure they're going to be leaping about and shaking the bed as soon as they get a chance to climb on it. In a perfectly innocent sense!

He just doesn't want to be woken in the middle of the night by being crushed by broken planks and a 6' + lunk.
