General Reputation: Peter's been unplugged for about two and a half years. He's established himself as a point of contact/information for smugglers, mostly those with Irkalla connections, and deals primarily in the smuggling of basic goods rather than anything super suspect (weapons, tech, etc). Generally speaking, his reputation is largely what it was in canon — kind of annoying, a little bit illegal, but largely harmless.

I'd love to discuss established CR with any other characters who have been around for a while, or am otherwise a-okay with people having heard his name and assuming he's kind of a tool or w/e.

Looking For: If anyone's looking to get their characters involved in the less seedy side of the criminal underground, we could probably wrangle up something interesting!! On the flipside, anyone who's very by the book or committed to Zion security could make for fun CR. Basically anything and everything atm, long game will be for him to get his own ship, but he needs to make some friends and sort his life out a little first.

Notes: He'll punch you/go cry in his room if you try to tell him his raccoon and tree friends weren't real so be nice ok.

im here for established cr with other characters that have been here for a while!! anna has been here for a year and is ... less charming than peter, currently, but not actively unpleasant. sometimes not-on-purpose creepy in a way that may vibe similar to gamora, it definitely comes from a similar place.

Yes I think we should just mash them together and wing it!! I'm super down for having Peter showing him the ropes and we can see if they get on or not, if that works for you. Depending on how much you want to handwave/if you want to play out the immediacy of Dean adjusting, we can consider absorbing the test drive thread (and I can keep tagging it oops). But yes endgame = crewbros.

Metzger'd probably throw jobs Peter's way if Quill were willing to roll on a competitive suppler or two. If they can attain some level of cooperation in that regard (what he and Cage are angling for on the test drive) then he's probably pretty tolerant of Peter being Peter.

IF NOT they are probably thorns in each others sides and Metzger is the sort to throw salt in his game on the regular. Sabotage, suspiciously coordinated pirate attacks, thinly veiled death threats, etc.

Oh man this is a v hard choice. We can probably go with the direction of the TDM and I can prioritize tagging it so we can use it properly!! But it seems like tentative cooperation is the direction that's heading in, so possibly 9 parts the first option and 1 part the second?

Emma here has been unplugged for a handful of months and I think she'd know her and at least be aware of him as an option. She's cool with stretching the rules a little when it has to be done, but she's trying to stick to the straight and narrow in attempts to get on an extraction team.

But I think his attitude would both annoy her and amuse her, so I'm looking forward to seeing them interact!

Fellow wannabe pirate!! I hope to eventually have Captain meander Irkalla-wards, though possibly not for a while. Cap's got a similar rep but not because of intentional dickery (...at least so anyone can guess); largely they are annoying due to their cheerful confidence and tendency to ramble, a little bit illegal in their tendency to ignore common laws or unspoken agreements, and largely harmless save the occasional scalding tea in the face.

...So maybe they're not exactly similar. It takes all kinds, right?

In any case, being able to get involved in the criminal underground would be kind of amazing. Captain would 100% fall for the 'Star Lord' schtick and march to Peter's tune to fetch items and things -- under the expectation that Cap would get some juicy deal out of it. Depending on how good Peter is at milking an ongoing lie/fairytale narrative, Cap would dig themselves deeper and happily. Just gotta make this character believe that it's their idea and Peter is golden.

In any case, Captain will tell him that his fauna/flora friends were as real as can be. His staunchest defender is a mug that shoots lazer-beams for goodness sakes. ;w;

Wow yes please feed his ego, that will end horribly. Peter won't necessarily go heavy on the manipulation, but he will absolutely talk himself up just enough to sound cool while also holding back just enough to seem super mysterious.

anyways I would maybe like to preestablish a tiny bit of CR but not too much because I want to see where this wild ride takes us, I assume it will be to new and exciting frontiers. Johanna is (probably, wildly assumes YES) on Metzger's crew but also is probably a fairly new addition. and she's done time on other ships trying to find people who can put up with her. what can we work out.

She'd probably roll her eyes at his tooly side and smuggling but since he's pretty harmless she probably wouldn't feel compelled to really hero at him or anything, and I think they might actually get along pretty well? Peter seems like he'd be up to the kind of shenanigans Dorian here could jive with, and he's typically pretty solid with the less seedy side of less than legal things? he's also a sarcastic, dry butthead and i think he'd get both aggravation and amusement out of peter's whole... peterness.
