Job/Role: none yet? help. see the looking for section. He got unplugged a month ago so he's just starting to find his feet.

General Reputation: Probably known as the grumpy or angry guy. He's only been unplugged for a month, but he's probably been some mixture of those emotions. He's been ecstatic about his leg though (he lost it in "his world", so he has it in reality). He's generally polite but distant to strangers, but a jerk to those who piss him off or to those he knows will let him get away with it. Jerk with a heart of gold, really. He's not really a team player, and frequently disobeys direct orders. He really does care about people, though, and would do anything to save a life. He's a cop in "his world". He is currently looking for a job in reality. He can be quite charming, sweet, and caring when he loosens up a bit.

Looking For: Help me decide what to do with him? He's good at fighting, decent at communication, not great with technology. As for cr I'm looking for, I'd say bros (all genders) to hang with (maybe drinking, cards, stuff like that), kids (he sometimes sucks at talking to kids and sometimes doesn't), fellow amputees, fellow cops, romantic interests and sexual encounters (ladies only, and... he's awkward at flirting at first, just fyi), and everything else!! especially looking for a crew willing to add a crew member!!

Notes: hm let's see... he's got anger management problems which involves punching annoying things so if you want your character punched!! also his hobbies are playing the guitar, obsessing about his past, and scowling at people.

Captain and Bloom are planning drinking and cards, which means that there's already a spectrum of acting ridiculous through to actually being ridiculous! Come be their straight man, Kennex! Cap's also only been out for 6 weeks, and I think Bloom for 4, so it could just be a card-night that Captain has arranged for newbies.

Of course, Captain doesn't particularly care about anyone being a jerk, not conventionally. If your guy goes off at him in a particularly hurtful way, he may pay for it later in a similarly unconventional way, (or at least Captain would try!) but otherwise, snark away! They'll even take a punch or too if Kennex makes it particularly melodramatic and entertaining!

i hear there's a possible newbie card game getting started?? bucky is here to back you up in the straight man department ok. he doesn't actually remember how to play cards but he is persistent about learning things.

he is also a fellow amputee, although unfortunately in reality now as well as the matrix, if that's useful as a secondary hook.
