General Reputation: If she has any general reputation at all in Zion, it's one of not being particularly social or sociable, and/or one of being very determined. Rita isn't a proponent of forming close personal bonds during wartime, certainly not for combatants — but she's not so antisocial that she won't even tell you as much.

Looking For: She's from the same matrix as Cage, who's been unplugged for much longer, so if you've (assumed) CR with him, pls come have CR with me also! Captain won't be serving aboard any ship if said ship-captains have any sense about them, but if Rita and Snippy have CR, you may expect to spot Cap around said Snippy at some point. Captain is blithely confident, makes up stories on the spot, and cares not for mopey, grumpy faces. If Rita wants to try to smack them around for it, I'd be delighted to see how that unfolds!

General info that I passed on to Cage's mun: Captain's matrix (and Snippy's) had its own tower of pods that one day sloughed millions of lives due to a supreme mess-up in the simulation. Leads trace this back to Captain apparently throwing tea upon the server banks of the world wide ANNET... which translates into somehow buggering the architect program responsible for organizing and maintaining that matrix beyond repair. Rumour might be that Captain has strong anti-machine sentiments, strong enough to make killing the majority of the population (already enslaved to the machines in-simulation as well as in reality in the pods). Captain's doofus act might not be entirely because of their augmented brain. They may have had plans and they might be useful if plugged in again for their luck-bending and time-parsing skeelz.

On the other hand, Cap makes a fine punching bag. :]

she does have (slightly negative) cr with snippy, and she would absolutely be annoyed by captain's blithe confidence and made up stories so chances are good she'd be using them as a punching bag indeed!

ps i haven't been keeping up with romantically apocalyptic but i am pleased to see people play from it tbh

Dilly got me into it about a year ago and I only very recently picked Captain up, but I'm glad! I'm used to OC's so this kind of canon manic authority is really weird and new to me. Lemme know if I ever go wildly off the tracks. I'm still sort of a boobly newb myself!

If Captain can break the game in some way, some day I will consider my job fully complete. Until that time I'm excited to have them add some chaos and delicious flavours to a world full of sad and angry people. I really hope that they'll click unexpectedly with some characters because that would be a blast!

I hope that Rita's furious grumpitude winds up netting some sweet CR, too. You and Cage-mun sound like you've got a plan in mind, though I'm not sure what, yet!

metzger will probably have some idea of what rita means to cage just from having known him and having assisted in getting the extraction going

he will tolerate attitude towards him and everyone else as long as she follows orders which -- we've talked about them both being military so i expect it should be fine

she will definitely follow orders especially because his orders will make a lot of sense to her and the only time she'd actively go awol or against orders is in exceptional situations and after attempts to clear it with her superior officers ie him (and hahaha cage)
