oh man, i need to watch GOTG from what i kind of know about peter, i think ellie might think peter is a complete dick at first... and then utterly warm to him. ellie is pretty mature for her age in a lot of ways because of what she's gone through, but she's also still totally a kid. ellie goofing around with peter?? yes pleeease.

i see in your app that peter has been unplugged for quite a while. ellie otoh has been unplugged only a few months. would you be interested in working out/handwaving them having already met somehow?

Peter missed out on his own childhood, so he'd be kind of upset about seeing a kid pulled into the real world. We can say he tried to help out/play big brother?? But if Ellie was at all bratty/abrasive (nah never) he'd be kind of childishly defensive about it so :')
