in all honesty I think Johanna might actually respond kind of well to him? I think he might have just the right amount of charisma and goodness-with-badness that she could appreciate, enough so she'd be snarky and nasty but maybe a little less so, especially if she's caught hints of any recklessness/brutality/etc on given missions.

just to say i like all these thoughts. i think cage would enjoy her, he is a little inoculated to people being mean to him that even if she did mean it, he's more the kind of dish it back rather than get offended or roll over passively.

and yes, violence, a good foundation of friendliness.
