That could work!! Bucky's problem is less that he doesn't think going into the simulation is worthwhile, and more that he's afraid it's a trap — he's had his visual perception of reality manipulated before to convince him he's doing one thing when he's actually doing another, e.g. seeing himself ringing a towel when he's actually snapping a neck, so he'll be having a hard time believing that the jack-in chair is what it seems. So in retrospect it may require a series of conversations with multiple people to get him to try it! But building up trust with Dust would definitely help, and it sounds like they definitely have some common ground to bond over during physical therapy. c:
