On the one hand, I adore the idea of having your character pull his harsh reality buzz on Captain, who was the luckiest human in the world in their matrix, known by some nerds as a super. Unlike some, Captain would blithely go along with Metzger's tough-luck speech and possibly hold a grudge if the man got personal about it. On the other hand, Captain has fostered a deep grudge -- much deeper -- for machine kind within their own matrix. If Metzger happened to see past the silliness to that, there might be some use between them for CR!

Essentially Captain was experimented on by humans who worked for the architect of their matrix and got revenge by destroying a huge swath of their databanks; this began a huge dump of human minds and unplugging bodies in the measure of billions, but which ultimately crippled the architect beyond the point of no return. :I If one doesn't call that extremist I don't know what is!
