ohhh my god though I would actually really like that confusion. Johanna is pretty suspicious and doesn't appreciate bullshit, and has a very quick temper--but I could totally see her getting strung along and trying to get somewhere with Captain dear captain only to later find out that all is not what it seems. even if she's signed up with Metzger, she's pretty forward thinking and always wants the best for herself... and also knows that it may not last.
so if we could do some sort of confused thread based around this captain-less-than-captain thing and then there could be some grudge holding that might, eventually, melt into respect for craziness... I would so be down.
will Captain be outright claiming to have a ship and be getting a crew together or is that something someone would have to assume based on overhearing the name "captain" at a bar or something
